Log and Trace Analyzer views

The Log and Trace Analyzer provides a number of views for log file analysis.

Log view
The Log View shows the log records of an imported log. The properties and values of each log record are shown in this view.
Viewing logs, correlations, and symptom catalogs
The Log Navigator view is a tree structure view that allows you to conveniently navigate and manage logs, log correlations, and symptom catalogs.
Log Interactions view
The Log interactions diagram displays interactions among log records that occur during the execution of an application. This view shows correlations between log records from a single log file or across multiple log files.
Log Thread Interactions view
The Log thread interaction diagrams provide a view of interactions among log events (records) that occur on different threads, which participate in the execution of an application.
Symptom Analysis Results view
The Symptom Analysis Results view shows symptoms generated during a log analysis operation. Details about symptom definition, recommendation, matched events (log records) and symptom properties are displayed in the view.
