All Superinterfaces:
ActivityContent, ActivityNode, Element, org.eclipse.emf.ecore.EModelElement, org.eclipse.emf.ecore.EObject, InputPin, MultiplicityElement, NamedElement, org.eclipse.emf.common.notify.Notifier, ObjectNode, Pin, RedefinableElement, TypedElement

public interface ValuePin
extends InputPin

A representation of the model object 'Value Pin'. A ValuePin is an InputPin that provides a value by evaluating a ValueSpecification.

From package UML::Actions.

Method Detail

getValue

ValueSpecification getValue()
Returns the value of the 'Value' containment reference.

This feature subsets the following features:

The ValueSpecification that is evaluated to obtain the value that the ValuePin will provide.

From package UML::Actions.

Returns:
the value of the 'Value' containment reference.
See Also:
setValue(ValueSpecification), UMLPackage.getValuePin_Value()

setValue

void setValue(ValueSpecification value)
Sets the value of the 'Value' containment reference.

Parameters:
value - the new value of the 'Value' containment reference.
See Also:
getValue()

createValue

ValueSpecification createValue(java.lang.String name,
                               Type type,
                               org.eclipse.emf.ecore.EClass eClass)
Creates a new ValueSpecification, with the specified 'Name', and 'Type', and sets the 'Value' containment reference.

Parameters:
name - The 'Name' for the new ValueSpecification, or null.
type - The 'Type' for the new ValueSpecification, or null.
eClass - The Ecore class of the ValueSpecification to create.
Returns:
The new ValueSpecification.
See Also:
getValue()

validateCompatibleType

boolean validateCompatibleType(org.eclipse.emf.common.util.DiagnosticChain diagnostics,
                               java.util.Map<java.lang.Object,java.lang.Object> context)
The type of the value ValueSpecification must conform to the type of the ValuePin. value.type.conformsTo(type)

Parameters:
diagnostics - The chain of diagnostics to which problems are to be appended.
context - The cache of context-specific information.

validateNoIncomingEdges

boolean validateNoIncomingEdges(org.eclipse.emf.common.util.DiagnosticChain diagnostics,
                                java.util.Map<java.lang.Object,java.lang.Object> context)
A ValuePin may have no incoming ActivityEdges. incoming->isEmpty()

Parameters:
diagnostics - The chain of diagnostics to which problems are to be appended.
context - The cache of context-specific information.
