Interface SQLConditionStep<NEXT>

Type Parameters:
NEXT - the stage returned when another complete condition is appended
All Known Subinterfaces:
SQLDeleteWhereStep, SQLSelectHavingStep, SQLSelectWhereStep, SQLUpdateWhereStep

public interface SQLConditionStep<NEXT>
A condition clause that accepts additional comparisons or complete reusable conditions. Simple fluent connector chains follow SQL precedence (AND before OR), so call order does not imply left-associative grouping. Compose a complete SQLCondition with SQLCondition.and(SQLCondition) and SQLCondition.or(SQLCondition) when explicit nesting is required; the compiler adds parentheses for the structured condition tree.

      Parameters:
      left - the left expression of a comparison
      Returns:
      the next valid fluent stage

    • and

      NEXT and(SQLCondition condition)
      Adds a complete structured condition joined with AND. Its explicit expression grouping is preserved.

      Returns:
      the next valid fluent stage
      Since:
      4.15
