Validate a given value against constraints defined by the EDataType of the EStructuralFeature.

Parameters:

eStructuralFeature - the feature that defines any constraints

value - the value to be validated

Returns:

a Diagnostic describing any potential errors

addConstraintValidator

void addConstraintValidator(org.eclipse.emf.ecore.ENamedElement element,
                            IFeatureConstraint constraint)

Add a custom IFeatureConstraint.

Parameters:

element - ENamedElement to add a validation constraint for

constraint - the behavioral validation constraint
