Creating a deployment

Test deployments typically consist of a paired test artifact and test location. Through the launch configuration mechanism, TPTP interprets the pair and deploys the test artifacts on the host computer specified.

Create the deployment by following these steps:

Right-click in the Test Navigator and select New > TestElement... The New wizard opens.
Expand Test Assets and select Deployment then click on Next to open the New Deployment dialog.
Select the parent folder and enter the deployment name, testDeployment. Click on Next and optionally enter a description for the deployment.
Click on Finish. The Deployment editor launches.
